A well thought out, luxury family bathroom renovation

Luxury family bathroom renovation with quirky subway tiles and a cool, calm, muted colour palette. A subtle terrazzo tile floor in a natural sandy grey colour, ties the glossy blue subway wall tiles and white tiles together seamlessly.

The large walk-in shower is framed with the shower niche (previously a window frame). We tiled the existing window frame for a striking, large niche. We also replaced the clear glass pane with a frosted one for privacy. The modern, floating, clear, glass shower screen contains the water whilst allowing for easy walk-in access. A large rain shower head, and handheld attachment, ensures you get full body coverage every shower.

A stunning stone top vanity boasts black and white marble with a clean white recessed sink bowl. The overhead cupboard with 2 large mirror doors is also recessed into the wall and provides ample storage alongside the two draw floating vanity.

We chose a traditional older style bathtub with tiled surround for this renovation, as the client required a very large bath. Designed with a tiled shelf at the head for easy access to all of your most used products and plenty of surrounding space for accessorising and styling. Modern chrome fixtures complement the much needed heated towel rail – in a Melbourne bathroom!

Additionally, we love that this bathroom has 2 exhaust fans and a gorgeous specialty heat light/lamp from Beacon Lighting.

To finish it off, we styled the room with woven baskets and a touch of foliage, blue and white towels and a jute floor mat – to bring in some texture. Rustic mini wooden stool and a few luxury bath products really finish off the look and invite the family in.

A well thought out, luxury family bathroom renovation the whole family can enjoy all year round.
