Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

“2020 can die in a hole!” to quote my teenage daughter.

What a year it’s been! For us, it’s been a very trying time…
We started the year with horrific bushfires which (although did not directly affect us, affected us in other ways). We empathised with those who lost their homes, livelihoods and loved ones, not to mention the loss of so much bushland and crucial wildlife. Then came the floods. Our business really started to feel the impact of the bushfires and floods as building materials became hard to come by, cutting off supply nation-wide.

Then by mid-March, we were losing sleep over the COVID-19 pandemic that has changed the way we live and work. We kept working through it all, following the restrictions and adapting on the fly until… trades were told to stay home. And we did stay home. For 10 looonnnnnngg weeks.

Now for allot of Victorian businesses, these strict lockdowns meant they had to close their doors for good and we really feel for those battling Australians who have done it extremely hard this year. We hope you have been able to adapt in this new COVID world and are now back at work making a living supporting your families. We have been one of the lucky ones who have adapted and persevered and made it through the other side of 2020. We are incredibly thankful for this small miracle at Christmas.

Wishing you and your family a heartfelt Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Looking forward to catching up with you all in 2021.

Here’s hoping for a less trying year ahead.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
